Questions
How is the number worked out?
4k Weeks counts the calendar weeks from the week you were born, and subtracts them from 4000. The count drops by one at the start of each week, on the first day of the week set for your region. 4000 weeks is about 77 years: an average, not a prediction.
How do I change my birthdate?
Open the app, tap Settings (the gear), and enter the new date. The widgets update straight away.
How do I add a widget and choose its style?
Press and hold an empty part of the Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and pick 4k Weeks. To change a widget, press and hold it and choose Edit Widget: there you pick the style (Ring, Number, Bar or Dots) and which number it shows. For the Lock Screen, press and hold the Lock Screen, tap Customize, and add 4k Weeks to the row under the clock.
A widget asks me to open the app.
The widgets need your birthdate, which you set in the app. Open 4k Weeks once and set it.
What happens after 4000 weeks?
The app and the widgets count the weeks past 4000 instead, with a reminder to live each week to the fullest.
Where is my birthdate stored?
Only on your iPhone, where the app and its widgets can read it. 4k Weeks has no account and no server. See the privacy policy.
